Philly Treatsies

There's something about itty bitty goodies that make me smile.
While I was running off of 3hrs of sleep today at a service outreach event for work, they had baby soft pretzels and free Tastykakes... =)

Friend: You gotta rub the Tastykake on your belly so the icing don't stick.
Me: Haha, you can do that with your hand, too!
Friend: They taste better when you rub them on your belly.

That, definitely, made me smile...and giggle too =)

My Vision

Dear Reader,

I hope that this blog serves you well. I've created this for two simple purposes:

1. That people would be encouraged to share their joys with the rest of the world
2. That people would be challenged to seek joy in their lives so that they can eventually share it as well.

I'm not sure how this blog will pan out, but my hope is that people will e-mail me a list of things that made them smile, a story, pictures, whatever they'd like for me to post, and then I want to share it with the world.

I'll get the ball rolling...and will continue to roll the ball till someone opens their arms to catch it =)


Here are some things that made me smile today:

1. Checking off the little boxes on my list of Things-to-Do
2. The fact that my walk back to my car wasn't as far as I had thought it would be
3. My grandmother waving good-bye with the biggest smile as I pulled away from the driveway
4. Purchasing tickets for my get-away to Boston
5. Hearing my friend Ilene tell me that she has fun things planned for each day I'm visiting
6. The multitude of beans in my rice
